RBAZ isn't just an organization, we are a family.

taylor

Taylor was diagnosed with Unilateral RB on December 4th 2008. He was 2 and a half years old at the time. When the ophthalmologist found the tumor and told us he had cancer we were terrified and devastated. Taylor went through one cycle of chemotherapy and we then decided to get a second opinion at Children’s hospital Los Angeles. The doctors explained Taylor would have no chance of restoring any functional vision in his left eye. We decide enucleation was the best course of action. Taylors left eye was removed January 2009. Taylor is now a happy healthy 4 year old. He goes to preschool and plays baseball and basketball. Taylor says his fake eye is "pretty cool". Taylor lives a normal life and he has been an amazing child through his journey.
